Real Housewives of the 19th Century (Overtones)
This play was particularly funny to me. I just instantly reminded me of cast members of the hit reality TV series "The Real Housewives Of..." various places. The women were so wrapped up in materialistic things and the being of a man, they couldn't put things aside to see that they might have been the best of friends despite these things. I feel that their Undertones may have been the more naive versions of themselves, in the fact that they didn't want to admit their true emotions, while the overtones told it like it was....or something like that. Overall, this play was really entertaining and I would love to see all of the creative ways this play could be pulled off in a live performance.

I like your comparison from the play Overtones to reality TV. I think it was smart for you to draw comparisons from this play that was from the early 1900s to our modern society. I would also like to see this play performed in a modern new context.
