'Night Mother

Phew. This play was emotionally stimulating to say the least. However, it made for a great read and a great script that allows us to have multiple Major Dramatic Questions. While the director may decide to use the MDQ "Will Jesse Kill Herself?", I have come up with one of my own that I feel would make for a more complete script. I chose the question, "Will Mama convince Jesse to stay alive?" because I feel like one could use the different tactics Mama used to provide a more complete and suspenseful story. Mama uses multiple forms of persuasion, including the truth, to keep Jesse alive but in the end, Mama failed her task and the story ends. So I feel that this MDQ could be more of a good fit for this script. Once the question is answered the script ends and it prompts a "yes" or "no" response, making it feel the standards of a MDQ.
